United States Navy Blue Angels
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — December 02, 2005 — Volunteers from the Indianapolis Air Show in attendance at the International Council of Air Shows annual convention in Orlando, Florida are proud to announce they have been chosen by the United States Navy Blue Angels as the top air show in the country for the 2005 season.
Commander Officer and Flight Team Leader Steve Foley said “We had a phenomenally successful 2005 show season, due in most part to the superb support we received at each show site. The 2005 Indianapolis Air Show raised the bar in show excellence and we are proud to recognize their team as our 2005 Blue Angels Air Show of the Year.”
In addition the United States Air Force Thunderbird Jet Team announced they will be appearing at the Indianapolis Air Show August 26-27th, 2006 They will be joined by the United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, Michael Hunter Flight for Diabetes, Red Eagles Duo, Warbirds and more to be announced.
