Indianapolis Air Show Moves to Early Summer for 2009; Mark Your Calendars for June 5, 6 & 7
(Indianapolis, Ind.) – The dates for the 2009 Indianapolis Air Show are set! But if you were about to make a note in your calendar for late next summer, put your pen down.
In 2009 the Air Show will actually help kick off the summer, with military planes, aerobatic pilots and even hot air balloons taking to the skies above Mt. Comfort Airport on June 5, 6 and 7.
Plans for the annual must-see event benefiting local children’s charities are beginning to take shape. As always, attendees can expect to experience everything from high-flying action in the air to interactive and family-friendly fun on the ground.

Net proceeds from the Air Show go to the Central Indiana Community Foundation. The Indianapolis Air Show has donated more than $1.3 million through CICF to children’s charities since the show’s inception in 1997.
