INDIANAPOLIS, IN — It’s never too early to start making plans for summer fun! And to help you get excited about the warmer months ahead, the Indianapolis Air Show is offering a ticket special from next Tuesday, April 1, through April 15.
If you buy an adult ticket online between the 1st and the 15th, by going to www.indyairshow.com and using the promotional code “AIRSHOW2008,” you can get a second adult ticket for half-price. Advance tickets are already cheaper than the tickets you buy at the gate, so this is a tremendous deal for families.
“We see dads, moms, kids and grandparents every year at the Air Show,” said Tom McCord, general manager. “They’ve helped make this charity event a huge success, and we wanted to say thanks by giving them this opportunity to save big money.”
Air Show organizers also point out that active U.S. military personnel will be able to attend the 2008 Air Show for FREE with current military identification.

The 12th Annual Indianapolis Air Show is set for Aug. 22-24, 2008, at Mt. Comfort Airport. The U.S. Air Force’s F-22A Raptors are headlining this year’s event, topping a list of performers that also includes the U.S. Army’s parachute team – the Golden Knights; an Air Force Heritage Flight performance; the U.S. Navy’s Super Hornet; and, numerous world-class civilian aerobatic entertainers.
Net proceeds from the Indianapolis Air Show go to the Central Indiana Community Foundation. The Indianapolis Air Show has donated more than $1.3 million through CICF to children’s charities since the show’s inception in 1997.
