2007 Indianapolis Air Show Tickets Now Available
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — August 15, 2007 — To save some money. To avoid the lines. To give yourself plenty of time to pick the right spot to see the high-flying action overhead.
They’re all great reasons to go out and get your tickets to the 2007 Indianapolis Air Show, which are now available at Marsh Supermarkets and United Package Liquors stores, as well as online at http://www.indyairshow.com/.
Advance tickets are $17 for adults and $8 for children (ages 6 to 12). If you have a Marsh Fresh Idea card, and you buy your tickets at one of their supermarkets ahead of time, they’ll take another dollar off the price of admission!
On the days of the show, Aug. 25 and 26, adult tickets will be $20 and kids will be $10.
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are the headlining flight performers for this years Air Show at Mt. Comfort Airport, with the Navy’s parachute team — the Leap Frogs — also wowing the crowds.
The U.S. Army’s Sky Soldiers will take to she skies, too, with combat veterans piloting Cobra Attack helicopters. In addition, they’ll be bringing along the Virtual Army Experience, a high-tech, innovative gaming exhibit that’s team-based and action-packed.
Among the significant late additions to the 2007 Air Show is Red Bull North America Aviation. Red Bull is known all over the globe for its Air Race World Series, where pilots navigate courses at breakneck speed, competing against each other for the best time.
The Red Bull crew will add to an outstanding array of aerobatic pilots set to perform at the show, including Sean D. Tucker and Team Oracle, Greg Koontz, Lucas Oil-sponsored Mike Wiskus and Geico’s Tim Weber. Backward, tail-first flying, loops, vertical rolls and high-speed aerial climbs are just some of the extraordinary feats that these experienced pilots will execute.
The Indianapolis Air Show, which is presented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, is sponsored by Miller Lite, Marsh and United Package Liquors.
